Top Of The World

Top of the World viewpoint perches 5,300 feet above the hot Utah desert floor. Various viewpoints along the edge can be enjoyed by hike-up, drive-up, or creep-up for an unobstructed and commanding view of Fisher Valley and La Sal Mountains. We crept out to the edge and squinting at the valley way down below with the real eminent sense of blowing off the withering height cliff by strong gusts of wind and sand.

To get there from Moab (a small quaint town in southern Utah), we drove about 42 miles via US-191 North and take UT-128 East to the town of Dewey, then drive south on BLM105 for 9.5 miles.

Some challenging and fun sections can be had for the next 10 miles

The Top of The World Trail in Utah treasured for its incredible viewpoints and hard-core challenge to keep us entertained.

We spotted an old corral on our way back that worth closer look
There are numerous natural caves that made this place interesting
Wind blown sand filling up inside this cave
One cave we found has large opening on the side

Driving back to Moab for dinner, both of us knew other amazing Utah trails will soon be knocking on our doors and, yeah…we welcome these trails with open arms.
